All mining subsidiaries of the Company were commissioned with participation of Polymetal Engineering's specialists.

Polymetal Engineering's largest projects executed for the Company's subsidiaries:

Vorontsovskoe

Method of winter heap leaching for oxidized ore (designed capacity 800 000 tons of ore per year) was implemented in Russia for the first time which allowed conducting year-round precious metals mining in different climatic conditions. Primary ore processing is carried out at CIP plant (Phase II).
Method for rehandling of last year heap leaching piles was developed for maximum gold recovery and exclusion of necessity to construct foundations for new ore volumes.
Re-design for primary ore processing section has been made. Major objective of the project is to increase capacity in terms of primary ore processing up to 900 000 tons of ore per year.

Dukat and Lunnoye

Basing on the designs developed by Polymetal Engineering's specialists a new method of gold-silver processing plant's operation was implemented - combined processing of ore from Lunnoe deposit and concentrate from Dukat deposit at Lunnoe plant.
Full set of engineering documents has been prepared for building works aimed to reconstruct Omsukchan gold processing plant due to increase in productivity and construction of tailing pit №3.

Feasibility study for Lunnoe gold and silver reserves estimation has been conducted which determines economically advisable reserves for underground mining at Lunnoe deposit.
Schedule of smelter shop reconstruction is developed which allows optimizing operation of this section.
Designs of ice-rock filling of pits' closed envelopes are completed. It helps to exclude pit sump costs and increase safety of operation during underground mining at Dukat and Lunnoe deposits.

Albazino

Development concept of Albazino mining and processing plant has been created. Production capacity of the designed mining and processing plant is determined and it is 1,5 mln. tons of ore per year; power supply circuit for facilities of the plant's site is selected, key construction facilities of the plant's external infrastructure in Oglongi settlement are determined.

Pilot flotation unit is developed and manufactured on quite tight schedule that allowed processing large volumes of ore and determining technological process parameters. Polymetal has considered possibility of application of existing methods for gold recovery from refractory ores and selected autoclaving as the preferred option.

Electronic model of the future pit of Albazino deposit

Khakandja

Sets of engineering documentation were prepared for Khakandja mine for main opening system at pits №2 and №3. This work efficiently solved the issue related to transport access to lower levels of pit №2 and development of strip mining at pit №3 taking into account actual complex relief.
