Degtyarskoe deposit is located 40 km south-west from Yekaterinburg, 380 km from Voro.
Two types of ore are mined at Voro: primary and oxidized.
- Primary ore processing is conducted at CIP Plant.
- Oxidized ore is processed at the plant using heal leaching and Merrill-Crow processes.
2009 – completion of installation and commissioning under the project of reconstruction of primary ore processing plant to increase production up to 900 000 tons per year. As the part of the project filtration section was commissioned and desorption-electrowinning section was reconstructed.
Mining of Degtyarskoe deposit was started in 2009. In 2010 it’s scheduled to process 220 000 tons of ore from the deposit on existing facilities of Voro CIP Plant.
In 2009 volume of gold produced at Voro increased by 14,1%.
