Polymetal implements ts practice of entering into social development partnerships with regional and local authorities. In 2008 nine such agreements were signed in the Khabarovsk Territory and the Magadan and Sverdlovsk Regions.

Based on these agreements, Polymetal provide municipal authorities with material and technical assistance to improve living conditions in the territories in which it operates (road maintenance, purchasing of fuel, etc.).
