Saint-Petersburg, Russia, June 16, 2008 - JSC "Polymetal" (LSE, MICEX, RTS: PMTL) ("Polymetal" or the "Company") has received notifications that:
(i) Pearlmoon Limited is the owner of the Company's 78,460,437 shares (including 265,780 shares held in the form of GDRs) which were earlier announced to be owned by PPF Group NV;
(ii) Powerboom Investments Limited is the owner of the Company's 75,749,999 shares (including 256,599 shares held in the form of GDRs) which were earlier announced to be owned by Quotan International Limited.
Pearlmoon Limited is a subsidiary of the PPF Group NV.
Powerboom Investments Limited is a subsidiary of Quotan International Limited.
