Polymetal’s Sustainable Development Report ranked first best report of 2007

Polymetal became one of the winners of IX Annual Federal Contest of Annual Reports and corporate Websites organized by the "Stock market» magazine, MMVB exchange and Ministry of Economic and Development. Polymetal was awarded the first prize of "Best Sustainable Development Report" nomination. This year 139 companies have taken part in the contest.
It's an international standard to prepare a social report as an effective instrument provided actual public communication with all interested parties - community, investors and staff. Polymetal implements the international principal of transparency to the corporate social policy and for the first time it has published the Sustainable Development Report in order to satisfy information demands from all interested parties in full.
The report presents Company's last year work and plans attributed the stable development in 2007. The report reflects the complete picture of company's activities for internal and external social programs, production safety and environment safety programs, personnel training and development defines the problems and the ways how to solve them. It assists the effective dialogue with the community and supports the further successful long-term development of the company.
